Video metadata

Video metadata refers to the descriptive information embedded within a video file or associated with it. This metadata contains various details about the video content, such as:

Title: The name or title of the video.
Description: A brief or detailed explanation of the video content.
Tags/Keywords: Relevant words or phrases used to categorize the video content for search optimization.
Duration: The length of the video in hours, minutes, and seconds.
Resolution: The dimensions of the video display (e.g., 1920x1080 for Full HD).
Codec: The method used to compress and decompress the video file.
Frame Rate: The number of frames displayed per second (fps).
Bitrate: The amount of data processed per second, usually measured in kilobits per second (kbps) or megabits per second (Mbps).
Creation Date: The date and time when the video was created or recorded.
Author/Copyright: Information about the creator or owner of the video content and its copyright details.
Location: Geographical coordinates or location information where the video was captured (if available).
Language: The primary language used in the video.
Metadata is crucial for organizing, searching, and managing video content. It helps users and search engines to understand the context and content of the video, improving its discoverability and relevance when shared or published online. Additionally, metadata can be edited or added using various video editing software or dedicated metadata editing tools.
